DIGITAL TELEVISION
The digital conversion is coming
You've heard that television broadcasting is undergoing a dramatic change. Wyoming PBS and other broadcasters will turn off their analog transmission systems in February 17, 2009. Television stations are moving from a 50-year-old analog system to a digital system, the same technology at the heart of computers. Public Television and Wyoming PBS have undertaken an ambitious conversion to provide a more robust television service than anyone could have imagined years ago.
How to Watch Digital TV
With a digital television receiver, you can choose from three digital channels, including programming in spectacular high definition. You can watch our new channels on your current TV with an optional DTV tuner. But if you combine a DTV receiver with a high definition monitor, you will see that Wyoming PBS has never looked so good!
